I am ashamed to admit how long it has taken me to discover this masterpiece, but I had it at a cafe and licked the plate clean. It was amazing, like truly amazing. The marrying of ingredients was muah, chefs kiss. So naturally, (at this point you can catch on) I had to recreate it.
All it takes is bread, burrata, small cherry tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar. The bread is one I am quite particular about, and the pairing I find best is French bread. Other great pairings are sourdough bread, ciabatta, and even garlic (for an extra kick in flavor).
With springtime fast approaching, Burrata is a staple I make regularly this season. It's a light appetizer, that requires little prep and takes 10-15 minutes to assemble and devour. Pair this with a glass of lemonade, and lounge while devouring each piece!
